2012: the year I joined to Dribbble community. If you are not familiar with Dribbble, lets say that the site is mekka of professional designers. It's not easy to get invited but not impossible if you know designers but like in schools I think it's harder to be active there. Hopefully I'll have free time to work on some stuff I can upload later. Stay tuned!

This video is awesome and sooo true actually. If you're a designer and working for companies who used to include a bunch of people in the decision progress, you'll be familiar with the video, but if you aren't you can have a sneak peak of a designer's life before the holidays.

Thank you Steve for all the devices I've had and have: my first iPod shuffle, my iPod Classic, my iPhone 3G, my first Mac Mini, my Macbook, my iPad, my Apple TV and the iMac I use at work. These devices changed my life through their design, UI, UX. Rest in peace.

What a great monday! Awwwards just picked Jubble Bubble Tea (a site I made) into their "30 colorful wesites" collection. It is a great honour really, especially why they introduced the list with the site's thumbnail on their Facebook wall.
I know it's definitely not an award or anything but it is such a great feeling as my work has been picked as an ispirational material on a foreign site and I never thought believe me that Awwwards will do that. Thank you guys!

As a freelancer I know how hard is to calculate with hourly rates or projects. For taking the survey of the data I got a free copy of the book in ebook format and the results are really interesting: who much people work, how much they earn, are we happier since we started freelancing or not etc. Learn more about the book, I suggest all of you if you're working from home.

Unfortunately none of my works won any award in the past nearby. Well..maybe I should have submited them probably. Anyway just for fun I submitted jubblebubbletea.hu (one of my work I did couple of weeks ago) on cssmania.com.
The fun part: after submittion, MaverMedia blog announced the site as Site of the week, after that csswinner.com just submitted for themeselves and when I was searching in google I just found the headline:. CSS Cube, a Polish gallery just gave a Super badge for the site.

I know. If you take a look at site at the first time you might ask what took so long? Making a website, especially a portfolio site is never easy. I made sketches, wireframes, layouts, I was almost done actually when I read my front pages's headline: "Clean & Cool websites. That's what I love to do". I analyzed my own site and I had to realize that "it was cool", but not clean at all, then why am I saying that? So I started everything from sketch again and came up with a new look.
Qwikmobi, a North Carolina based company who offers you mobile version sites asked me to work for one of their client called House Your Credit. They helps you to find your dream house in the south-east part of the U.S.A. (Georgia, North- and South-Carolina). My task was to give a facelift to their old website and design the mobile version of the site for iPhone.

The British cosmetics company, Tony&Guy decided to break into to Hungarian market. They asked couple of companies, including Mito. Long story short we won the competition with the concepts.
I created a website recently to a central cafe place, called Lila Körte. The place is quite fancy and designed well with unique, italian furnitures. Based on the design of the place, I decided to fill the background with the place to show how great it look like. I also made a mobile version of the site using jquery mobile and designed an print version menu for the client.
I designed a website for a cafe place in the near past and since jQuery Mobile beta has just been released I though it'd be awesome to give it a try. Actually the plugin works smoothly and turns the website really easy to browse on a mobile device.
Cre8tive asked me to create a paper styled bolt logo for one of their project.

A small hungarian company's website who spreads bubble tea for sweet & coffee shops. The website awarded "Site of the Week" and "Site of the Day" badges from MaverMedia and CSSWinner.
This is just a concept for a personal project I'm involved. Our task was (at KREA) to create splash screen and a list screen of a website for iPhone. ThingsOf.com supposed be an online task management application. Thanks for Tehaan+Lax for the iPhone GUI.

The Hungarian company, Auto Securit Zrt. who were the first to start satellite vehicle protection in Hungary requested a clean looking leaflet for their products. Two was made, one for Skyguard® One and one for Skyguard® Team.
When I was working for Neo Interactive we made a microsite with an own identity for Betsson. Through the website people could win a bandy, dedicated by the hungarian champion, Levente Szuper, goalkeeper of Montreal hockey team. People could see the ice cube with the stick in it through a webcam.
Hi there! My name is Miklós Barton and currently I'm working as designer at Mito, Budapest/Hungary. Below you can read my professional history I have and had.
Now I work at Mito. I became OTP Bank's social media designer, therefore I design quite a lot facebook apps. Beside facebook app design I do print ads, micro-, mobile- and websites, flash games and banner storyboards for clients like Coca-Cola, Tony&Guy, iWiW, Vodafone etc.
In 2010 I worked a fulltime freelancer, doing graphic design, web design, sitebuild and project management. Beside work I studied web design at KREA (Contemporary Art School).
As a designer at Neo my tasks were: designing websites, flash banners and flash site's design and programming and sometimes suitebuild. I worked for Coca-Cola, Kraft (Milka, Sport Szelet), Becks, Betsson, HBO.
My dreams came true at Café and I'm really greatful for them because of that. I worked for BMW & Mini, OTP (biggest bank in Hungary), National Post, Bank of Development of Hungary, Unilever, Photohall, Danubius Radio, Vodafone, Kinder Pingui etc.
I developed websites and moduls on the company's own XML based CMS.
